When I took over as art director of Akiltour magazine, the challenge was twofold: to modernize its visual identity while respecting the core values of a leading publication in the french world of board games.
I therefore oversaw all graphic design work, as well as part of the layout (62 pages), with a complete redesign to improve readability, pacing, and visual impact. Working closely with the publishing director, I coordinated the work of the layout team and ensured consistency across all content. The creation of custom graphic effects and the implementation of a modernized style guide strengthened the magazine's identity and gave it a more assertive tone. From design to production, I also ensured the preparation of files for printing and the web, as well as production follow-up with the printer, up to the final print run of 12,000 copies, some of which were destined for the Vichy Games Festival 2025.
