For this project, I supported the Joinville-le-Pont library (94) in the complete creation of its visual universe. Without any existing graphic charter (apart from its logotype and typography), the goal was to design an identity that is warm, modern, and accessible, capable of reflecting the diversity of its cultural programming and the richness of its audiences.
I therefore developed a comprehensive art direction, applied across all communication materials: program booklets, event posters, visuals for social media and the website, newsletters, and signage. Each graphic element was designed to ensure overall consistency while allowing each event’s personality to shine through a universe of warm illustrations, bright and vibrant colors inviting reading and discovery.
To ensure the project’s sustainability, I also created a modular Canva template, allowing the team to adapt visuals over time while maintaining graphic harmony. This approach helped strengthen the library’s identity while making its communication more fluid, autonomous, and recognizable.
Each medium was designed as a bridge between the library and its visitors, combining clarity, accessibility, and visual appeal.
This project thus provided the institution with a strong, lasting identity able to evolve with its future communication needs.
